For centuries, critics have ridiculed the Bible as being full of errors, contradictions, and outright fabrications. The Hittites are mentioned over 40 times in Scripture but there had never been any evidence of their existence outside the Bible. Then in 1906, a series of excavations unearthed the capital city of the Hittites in present day Turkey. There were also over 10,000 clay tablets found in the city library containing the society’s law system. The Bible had been right all along and the critics had been wrong all along. This was not the first nor will it be the last time that the Bible will be vindicated by archaeological discovery.
